I hope you all enjoyed the Easter Holidays and the wonderful goodies that inevitably arrive at this time of year.
I think it’s important to enjoy these treats and not to feel guilty about indulging. Once all of the treats have been enjoyed though why not give yourself a nutritional boost this week.
Try a daily juice instead of one of your usual meals (preferably breakfast) – your digestive system will enjoy the break and your body will feel amazing. Mix and match any fruit and vegetable you like but do try and keep it to a maximum of 20% fruit.
Recipe idea containing vitamins A,B,C,E,K and numerous vitamins, minerals, protein & good fat:
1 stick of celery
Handful of spinach or kale
1 inch chunk of ginger
Juice the above before blending in half an avocado.
